Carole L. Woodward

Carole L. Woodward, 66, of Glenmoore, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 29, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of Richard C. Woodward, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage.

Born in Coaldale, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Doris Graver Kemery.

Carole was a graduate of Henderson High School in West Chester. She worked in Accounts Payable at Roman Mosaic & Tile, Co. for many years. Carole was an active member of Hibernia United Methodist Church, where she devoted a lot of her time to music ministry with her husband and daughter along with working in “Attic Treasures” at the Country Fairs & Christmas Bazaars. Carole was a spectator at many sporting events for her children & grandchildren and was involved with their Scout troops and school parties. Carole had a kind and loving heart and she will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

Carole loved her family and friends, her dog Minnie, the Philadelphia Phillies, K-love Christian contemporary radio, and visiting the Brandywine Valley SPCA on her lunch breaks to drop off donations as well as see the dogs and cats.

In addition to her husband, Carole is survived by her three children, Phil Carpenter (Christina), Paul Carpenter (Tiffanie) and Kelly Woodward; a brother, Edward Kemery (Cindy); four sisters, Sherre Staves (George), Kathy Kemery (Bernie Menkevich), Nancy Embler (Charlie) and Jennifer Kemery; and by three grandchildren, Miah, Madelyn and Paul Carpenter, Jr.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:30-10:45 AM at Hibernia United Methodist Church, 220 Hibernia Road, Coatesville, Pa 19320 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, WestChester, Pa 19380. Memorial contributions can also be made toHibernia United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
