Christopher Matthew Michnya

            Christopher Matthew Michnya, 34, of Elkins Park, PA, passed away on July 27, 2021. He was the loving Fiancé of Keriann Elizabeth Meyers.

            Born in Philadelphia on December 21, 1986, he was the son of the late Lawrence John and Sandra Constance (Padgeon) Michnya. Chris worked for Allied Capital Corporation in Philadelphia, where his presence will certainly be missed by his co-workers. He was the most amazing musician, especially talented at playing guitar, and easily learned any instrument he came across. In all things, Chris was talented, especially writing lyrics, poetry and composing music. He was smart and kind, enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He was a proud father to his son, Joseph, reading an endless amount of books to him at night. Chris will be missed so much by all who knew him.

            Surviving in addition to his Fiancée Keriann is their son Joseph Michnya, step-sons Evan, Christopher and Noah Meyers; brother Nicholas Michnya; and Keriann’s parents Douglas and Patricia Halfmann. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Michnya.

            Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
