Dale A. Hohman, 70, of Exton, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey W. Hohman, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, Dale was the daughter of Jean Jones and the late Joseph Jones.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College and Master’s degree from Penn State University.
Dale was a teacher for the Great Valley School District.
She was a member of the Downingtown United Methodist Church.
Dale enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, and reading. She will be remembered for her loving and caring personality; attributes of her ability to make friends wherever she was.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hohman is survived by her children, Melissa Davish and her husband Chad, and Alison Chappell and her husband, Neil; and four grandchildren, Paige and Hannah Irrgang, and Jonathan, Aly, and Evan Davish.
An evening visitation for Dale will be held on Thursday, October 10th from 6 to 8 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
A morning visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Downingtown United Methodist Church, 751 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by a service beginning at 11 am.
Interment will be private.
