David W. Cobb

David W. Cobb, 70, of West Chester, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at his home.  He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Grace Duttweiler Cobb, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2021.

Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Donald A. Cobb and Ruth Joan Witham Cobb.

Dave attended East Aurora High School, International Correspondence Schools of Scranton, the Vanguard School, and the Ivy School of Professional Art. 

David was an artist.  His degree was in Photography, but he was also skilled in painting and drawing.  Watercolor was his favorite, but he always had a pen in his pocket so when an idea struck him, he could draw on any paper available.

David had a long career in the food service industry and was a volunteer firefighter at both Wendelville and Elicott Creek fire departments in Western NY.

David also enjoyed baking, especially cookies, to the delight of his friends, family, and co-workers.

David enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, going for walks, and playing cornhole.  He loved listening to classic rock and going grocery shopping.  During the day, he would work with his brother Bruce at the UPS store where he moved and stacked boxes for the UPS driver pickup.

He is survived by his brother, Bruce R. Cobb, and Joyce Hess; a niece, Aindrea Cobb; a nephew, Chad Cobb and his wife, Heidi, and their son, Bryce.  He is also survived by his Aunt Dianne; the Duttweiler family and a host of extended family members.

A memorial service in Western New York will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave’s memory to the Millgrove Bible Church, 11517 Genesee St, Alden, NY 14004.
