It is with a heavy heart that we write to inform you of the passing of Dr. Jayshree Suresh Patel. She peacefully passed away on September 21, 2021, while surrounded by her family. She was born on April 4th, 1948, at Rajpipla, Gujarat, India, to Dr. Kantilal Parikh and Mrs. Sumanben Parikh. Jayshree is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Dr. Suresh Jayantilal Patel (Vachhani); her eldest son, Apurv, and his wife, Rina, and their two children, Lay and Manan; daughter Kruti, and her husband, Hiren Patel, and their two children, Neel and Diya; and younger son, Yash. Her warm smile and kind heart will be greatly missed by our entire extended family.

Jayshree was an amazing mother, doctor, and friend. She was also an avid Yoga practitioner and teacher. She always found time to engage in public service for young and old alike. Deeply pious, she treasured her children, family, and community. Until her health condition made it impossible, Jayshree embraced every moment with gratitude and lived an exemplary life of service and devotion to those in need. Her life was a shining example of a life well lived in service of others - doing what’s right and good.

A Hindu Funeral Service/Cremation will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, from 9AM-11AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
