Frances Resendiz

Frances Marino Resendiz, 87, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Resendiz, who passed away in 2009.

Born in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonina Macelli Marino.

Frances was a devout Catholic and long-time parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Malvern.  She enjoyed reading and loved to cook, especially her homemade Italian foods and cookies. 

Frances is survived by her children, Joseph E. Resendiz (Karen), Anthony Resendiz (Joanie), Edward Resendiz (Joanne) and Cindy Myers (David); fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Thomas and by her brothers, Pasquale “Pat”, Antonio, Jr. and Peter Marino.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.  Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
