H. Spencer "Spence" Dunlap

H. Spencer “Spence” Dunlap, age 96, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2020 at home.  He was the husband of the late Suzanne Dunlap, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Wagontown, PA he was the son of the late William B. and Helen Byerly Dunlap.  He graduated from Scott High School.  Spence was employed at LG Industries  for 39 years as a roll grinder.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting.  Spence was a life member of West Caln Sportsmen’s Club.  He could always be found cheering on his beloved Phillies and his fondest memories were made with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Spence is survived by his children, Robert S. Dunlap (Kristine) and Kelly Steidler (Jeff); and grandchildren, Colin and Riley Dunlap and Cole, Kelcy, Chloe and Lilly Steidler.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne; and brothers, Lowell, Kenneth and Robert Dunlap.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.
