Harry W. McGurk

Harry W. McGurk, 68 of Coatesville passed away on Friday November 8, 2019 at the Chester County Hospital, he was the husband of Karen McGurk with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.

Born in Delaware County, he was the son of Evelyn Terry McGurk and the late Harry J. McGurk.

Harry was a 1969 graduate of Sharon Hill High School. He was currently retired but had worked for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and was the owner operator of Freight Movers Express.

Harry loved music, motorcycle riding, camping, canoeing and playing pool.

In addition to his wife and mother, Harry is survived by a daughter Heather McDonald (Dan), brothers John & Bill McGurk, David & Robert Maxwell, sister Beth Economou and a granddaughter Charlotte McDonald.

A memorial service for Harry will be held on Thursday November 14, 2019 at 11 am from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 am.
