Jane Marie Keith, 83, passed away on November 24, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Charles W. Keith, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

She was born in Chester and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Lottie (Deery) Walleigh.

Jane was a member of Middlecreek Christian Church in Kresgeville. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening at her home in Kunkletown, paying particular attention to her daffodils. She was a devoted and immensely loved mother and grandmother. She was also “mother” to the many stray cats that found their way to her home through the years. She will be remembered for her unflappable honesty and incredible devotion to God and her family.

Jane is survived by her brother, Donald Walleigh of Oxford; her two children, Sidney Peachey of Johnstown and Donald Keith of Sadsburyville; her six grandchildren, Charles Kershaw (Michelle); Thomas Kershaw; Timothy Kershaw; Jennifer Bartine (Ollie); Jessica Keith (Jeremy); and Tyler Keith (Shelby); and fourteen great-grandchildren, Zaiden, Zander, Nicholas, Jasmine, Janessa, Tydus, Sarah, Lucy, Jude, Michael, Levi, Christian, Julian and Carson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Nancy Lane and Shirley Gurtizen.

The funeral service will be held on November 30, 2020 at 11:45 a.m. at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Family and friends will be received from 11:00-11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Philadelphia Memorial Park, 124 Phoenixville Pike, Frazer, PA 19355.
