Janice Rose Abruzzese, 79, of Glenmoore, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Robert E. Abruzzese, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
Born in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Helen T. Forcine.
The seeds of kindness she has planted have bloomed in the hearts of all she has touched. Janice’s life exemplified kindness, love, compassion & grace. She brightened the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. Known for her beautiful flower gardens, Janice was an avid gardener and a member of the Uwchlan Garden Club. Most sunny days you could find her relaxing on the patio with Bob. She enjoyed reading, vacationing at the beach, staying active with SilverSneakers, and gathering with her vibrant group of friends from the Lionville Middle School Breakfast Club.
Janice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her granddaughters and embraced every moment with them.
Janice retired in 2016 after 28 years as a teacher’s aide at Lionville Middle School.
In addition to her husband, Janice will be deeply missed by her daughters, Lisa A. Ressel and her husband Dennis and Diane A. Connell and her husband Butch; a brother, William Forcine and his wife Sandy and by three grandchildren, Jillian, Jaymee and Kaitlyn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs.
Interment will be private.
