Lillian Jane Eckbold, 89, of Narvon, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville.
Born in Philadelphia on May 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Howard Story Davis and Mary Cranston Davis.
Lillian was an avid lover and defender of animals. Always ready to take in strays and helping them any way possible. Lillian also had a beautiful artistic and creative talent for sewing, crocheting and painting.
Lillian is survived by her daughters, Lillian M. Kahle and her husband Gregory, Lorraine M. Ziegler and Roxanne C. Shaw; her sons, John and Mark McCaffrey; a sister, Marie Homyak; five grandchildren, Billy, Nicole, Lauren, Danny and Marcus and by one great grandchild, Destiny. She was predeceased by her son, Ernest Eckbold.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs. Family and friends will be received from 8:45-9:45 a.m.
Following mass, we will meet at Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia at noon for the interment service.
