Loretta S. McAnally, 77, of Chester Springs, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Charles “Chick” T. McAnally, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Loretta Fischer Stillmun.
Loretta has been working as a NICU Nurse for 38 years. The last 20 plus years were spent at Chester County Hospital.
In addition to her husband, Loretta is survived by her children, Colleen Mattia (Jeff), Chuck (Annemarie), Shawn, Megan, Brendan (Leesa) and Erin Fischer (Brad); her sisters, Dolores Cotterall and Patricia Burrell (Al); companions, Sandy and Brian D’Amico and by her grandchildren, Katie, John, Jessica, C.J., Ian, Sydney, Raina, Jack, Connor, Owen, Ryan, Lauren, Brian, Brooke, Caitlin, Connor and Anna.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment will be private with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the NICU Family Fund at Chester County Hospital.
