Lorraine Monahan

Lorraine Monahan passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Rose Tree Place Assisted Living.  She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Gerald J. Monahan with whom she shared 59 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2015.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Jean Curtis Breslin.

Lorraine’s passions included working in Human Resources for Milton Roy, shopping and being a chocolate connoisseur.

She is survived by her children, Robert J. and his wife Terri, Gerald F. and his wife Patricia, Lori M. Schnell and her husband Bill and Jennifer F. Leone and her husband Greg.  She is also survived by her brother, Francis Breslin and his wife Loretta; a daughter in law, Wendy Monahan and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Lorraine was predeceased by her son, Brian D. Monahan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, where family and friends will be received from 9-9:45 a.m.

Interment will be private with the family in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Cheltenham.
