Robert "Bob" Cornell Beavins

Robert C. Beavins, age 81, of West Brandywine Twp., passed away on October 7, 2019.

Bob was born in New York City, NY, to the late Frank and Violet Beavins.

Bob graduated from The Mt. Hermon School and from Lafayette College. Bob had an extensive career in packaging and procurement with Scott Paper Company, and later as Vice President of Planning and Communications with The Chemical Company of Jamestown, RI. Bob was a proud US honorably discharged Veteran and an active member of the  MOAA. Those who knew Bob  knew that he was a Gilbert Sullivan enthusiast. Bob was an outgoing, upbeat, and personable gentleman. He was a loving family man, and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Bob is survived by his wife Judy Beavins, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage, daughters; Anne Lannak and Susan Woltman (Michael), 6 grandchildren; Jack and Abigail Woltman, Delaney and Robert Mathews, Portia and Alex Lannak, and many extended family and friends.

A Memorial service for Bob will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 1PM, at Freedom Village at Brandywine, 15 Freedom Blvd, West Brandywine Township, PA,

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name can be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) - Financial Assistance, Scholarship Fund at Freedom Village, or a charity of one’s choosing.
