Ronald R. Tolley

Ronald R. Tolley, 63, of Elverson, PA, passed away the morning of Friday, December 6, 2019 after courageously fighting cancer for over nine years. Born in West Chester, PA. He was the son of Elizabeth Tolley and the late George H. Tolley and fiancé to Kimberly McCarty.

Ron is survived by his three sons Jared (Ruthann), Luke (Kaitlyn), and Aaron (Danielle); five grandchildren (and counting); his Sister Darlene Runyen. And many other dearly loved family members. He is preceded in death by father George H. Tolley and friend and brother-in-law, Patrick Runyen.

Upon graduation from aviation technical school, Ron began working for Delta Airlines. He worked in aircraft maintenance and was a lead mechanic for over 30 years. Ron had a love and passion for the game of tennis and even trained and coached wheelchair players. His favorite activities included vacations to the beach, Mack’s Pizza on the Wildwood Boardwalk, and spending time with those he loved. Ron was good-natured and had the ability to make friends anywhere.

Ron loved the Lord and the Word of God. His heart’s desire was that his children grew to love the Lord as well. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Ron’s legacy inspires us to enjoy life, never give up, and live a life surrendered to the Lord.
